Meet the Sharp Rider Team

Lee Parks

Chief instructor Lee Parks has been racing for 25 years and won the 2001 G.M.D. Computrack National Endurance Series Championship in the Lightweight class. He also finished 2nd in the 1994 AMA 125GP national championship in its exhibition year.

He spent five years as the editor and chief test rider of Motorcycle Consumer News where he road tested every new street motorcycle available in the U.S. and became one of the top performance-testing journalists in the world.

Lee’s staff of personally trained instructors are located all over the U.S. and Europe and bring with them an impressive list of riding and teaching credentials. Lee is now the president of Lee Parks Design, a motorcycle gear and accessory manufacturer.

Nancy Mayer

As the lead Canadian instructor, Nancy has been riding cruisers for over 35 years and is well-known in the Canadian motorcycle industry, first as the National Event Manager for the Ride for Sight from 1998-2000 and then as a manufacturer and marketer of Canadian made motorcycle/motocross accessories.

Nancy first became aware of the TOTAL CONTROL ARC through Lee Parks who became a top US distributor of TechSox. The course literally changed her life and the way she rode. Nancy became passionate about being able to share this program with fellow Canadian riders.

After becoming an instructor, Nancy worked closely with Lee to develop the Level 2 instructors manual and started teaching both Level 1 & 2 primarily to the Marines. After several years of trying to secure a location for the course in southern Ontario, she joined forces with and was able to begin teaching at the Hershey Centre in 2012.
